Well, this happened and I'm taken back by how beautiful it is. In a shock turn of events the rumours of a Last Of Us remake for the current generation of PlayStation is indeed true.

Summer Games Fest 2022 is about to commence but before the livestreamed event is shown around the world to showcase gaming reveals and news, the internet has exploded with hype. Naughty Dog have remade the original ''TLOU'' and dubbed it The Last Of Us Part 1 with all new visuals, extended gameplay and exploration but with the same gripping thriller narrative fans loved.

The original story revolved around Joel Miller, a grieving and darkened father who lost his daughter at the start of the fungal apocalypse. He later meets a surrogate daughter who happened to be immune, known as Ellie. The two journey across the country to help put a stop to the virus and hopefully reverse engineer a cure but sadly things take a turn and Joel takes it upon himself to save her from the clutches of scientists that would kill her via curing others.

Part 2 had a lot of controversy surrounding it and split the fan base but with this remake, what will Naughty Dog's motive be to give us a next gen version?
- Will the story be different?
- How will it adapt to better suit the sequel?
- Will there be more open world areas?
Right now all we know is it will look and play better. However we do have a solid release date of September 2, 2022. A mere three months away so we wont be waiting long to see our old friend Joel and the sassy teen Ellie relive their journey in all new glory!
