That's right Silent Hill, one of the biggest franchises based in the world of horror, scares and cult madness will be arriving as the next paid DLC in Dead By Daylight this June.

The news comes directly from the developers, Behaviour, that chapter 16 of the games vast running library of additional content will focus on that iconic licence, this was broken live during the games 4th anniversary this week to fans astonishment.

''Silent Hill is a new Chapter for Dead by Daylight. It includes a Killer, The Executioner; a Survivor, Cheryl Mason; and a map. Purchasing the add-on will unlock its new Killer, new Survivor, and an exclusive universal Charm: the Seal of Metatron.''

Each chapter tends to feature a new survivor, a map, perks and killer but the formula has been bent in the past for DLC such as Stranger Things (2 survivors) and Ghostface (No survivors).

Fans were hoping for many horror licences like Pennywise from IT, Pinhead from Hellraiser and even Jason from Friday The 13th but to their shock everyone expectations were turned on their heads to see Pyramid Head arriving on screen.

For those who have never played DBD, it is a stylised 4v1 asymmetrical horror survival online game available on all major gaming platforms. It originally released just for PC back in 2016 and over the years has added original chapters showcasing killers such as The Hag, The Doctor and The Trapper but also has other horror icons like Freddy Krueger and Micheal Myres among many others.

For players who cant wait to get their hands on the new chapter, the PTB (Player test build) is available to download exclusively on PC to enjoy and help developers test the new additions to the game before the launch this June.

No price or exact date has been announced yet but if we follow previous patterns of releases in the past we can expect a £7.99 - £9.99 price tag and a release window of 2-3 weeks after the PTB releases.

....See you in the fog!
