The CAPCOM horror classic Dino Crisis is rumoured to be heading to the next generation of PlayStation after a Twitter user DarkClong posted an image showcasing new artwork for the store featuring Regina, the protagonist of the game.

The 'leak' comes just weeks after Sony announced plans to revamp their PlayStation online service known as PS Plus into a three tier subscription structure with new benefits. The three new tiers will offer varying advantages for gamers, including PS1, PS2 and PS3 classics finally coming to the PS5 after a lack of backwards compatibility sorely needed.

CAPCOM are most famous for the Resident Evil franchise but back in the late 1990's they also started a sister franchise known as Dino Crisis. A similar fixed camera angle and horror focused game that featured dinosaurs rather than zombies. In recent years fans have wanted a reboot or remake of the dearly missed dino focused PS1 classic but to no avail.

At least now fans will have a viable modern way of playing their classic dinosaur horror experience on their flashy new next gen system. With this new artwork being unveiled a tad earlier than PlayStation may have wanted, it begs the question what other classics could we see come next? anything is possible it seems.
